Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information graivy.com collects, why, and the choices you have.
Who we are
Graivy Inc. (“Graivy,” “we,” or “us”) runs this website. Our address is 35 John Street, Suite 2E204, Toronto, Ontario M5V 3G6, Canada. For any privacy question or request, contact us at our contact form.
What this policy covers
This policy covers graivy.com: the pages you read, the contact and demo forms, and the analytics you can choose to allow. It doesn’t cover our products. ServThru, Drive-Thru Analyzer, and KioskOS process information on behalf of the restaurants that use them, under our agreements with those restaurants. If you have a question about a visit to one of those restaurants, please contact the restaurant.
What we collect
- What you send us. When you use the contact or demo form, we collect your name, your email address, your company if you give it, the topic or product you choose, and your message.
- What our host records. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps short-term server logs of requests to the site, including IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. We use these only to run and secure the site.
- Analytics, only if you agree. If you accept analytics in the cookie notice, Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information about how you use the site, such as the pages you visit, how you arrived, your general location, and your device type. If you decline or ignore the notice, the analytics code doesn’t load.
How we use it
- To reply to your message, arrange a demo, and follow up on your request.
- To run, secure, and improve the website.
- To understand how the site is used, but only if you have agreed to analytics.
We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the site: our hosting provider, the service that delivers form submissions to us, and Google, if you allow analytics. They may process and store information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law. We require them to protect it and to use it only to provide their services to us.
Cookies and your choices
The site sets no cookies until you accept analytics. We remember your choice in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie. You can change your mind at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions only as long as we need them to respond and follow up, and for our ordinary business records, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Analytics data is kept according to Google Analytics’ retention settings.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, withdraw your consent, or ask us to delete it, subject to legal limits. Contact us at our contact form. If you’re not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Quebec, the Commission d’accès à l’information.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) for the whole site. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
